We drove past and decided to stop for eating! it is a beautiful pub! many drinks and good eating! vegetarian options on the menu also! a little expensive, but eating it was worth it! the staff was hard to work and it didn't have the force of a business! good stop! check them geocache

I haven't been in the Mermaid for a while and decided to pop in for a drink and some food yesterday afternoon/ evening. It's a beautiful pub, and the food was amazing (I had the meat feast pizza, and it is the best pizza I've had in a very long while. . What made the experience even better for me though was the service received from the staff. They are friendly and look like they really enjoy working there, which makes a difference. Sorry I didn't get the flaming sambuca's in as promised, maybe next time as I'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.

First visit to the Mermaid Inn last night and we were very impressed. Great service, all the staff are very friendly and efficient. All the dishes we had were lovely. Tasty, well presented and generous portions. Would certainly recommend and visit again.

Haven’t been in this pub for many years and found its been tastefully renovated smart but not too plasticky. Lovely friendly, helpful waitress too. As well as good cask beer (Landlord) we had excellent meals. I am delighted to report that my wife I both commented that this was literally the best pub food we’d had in years. Please note: it’s one thing to have one of the two meals to be outstanding but both meals, different dishes, were outstanding. Superb.

My Wolves based buddy took me for brunch here. The Mermaid is a relaxed but tasteful place to dine or just enjoy a drink. The food is outstanding and the staff attentive and charming. Next time I visit my bro, I will return the favour at The Mermaid.
