It was a great day out for me and my partner, the staff were friendly and very accommodating very nice clean pub and the food was 10/10 the 8oz smothered sizzler was cooked to perfection even when I’m fussy with chips this place smashed it perfectly cooked too.

Amazing food came out hot and fast great portions too and great service! Well done to all the team couldn't be more helpful did everything for us we'll be back very soon.

We come to the Gatehouse before Christmas for our 2 companies Christmas get together and what a wonderful night we had! we was a little late due to work and they gave our table away (completely acceptable we was at fault for still being at work) we said we just sit in bar and just have a few drinks and would eat anywhere we was not fussy as we was at fault but one of the Bar Staff Chelsea who was so friendly lovely went above and beyond to find us a table when one was free. Her Customer Service and bar skills was above and beyond and she’s certainly a asset to your team! Our Food we had burgers and Steak the Steak was just cooked to perfection was just beautiful and was so impressed compliments to the chef i believe her name maybe Shan we had a great start to our night and everything was just fabulous Thanks to your amazing members of staff

Visited for lunch with friends and babies. The bar staff were pleasant and helpful, the food was ok but when I had ordered s Coke without ice and received it with ice I requested it was changed by the staff member that attended out table to ensure everything was ok. The staff members face and body were appalling. She really looked as though she didn't want to be there. This made me feel uncomfortable, and I, plus my friends, witnessed her pulling a face because we had made requests for our orders to be corrected. My friend requested when ordering that her food was well done and on arrival it wasn't sk she asked if it could be cooked more again the same staff member pulled her face, some customer service skills are required by floor staff. I won't be returning in a hurry. Otherwise, the food and environment were ok.
