Bidrage med feedbackAnd another traditional restaurant in Wittenberg. Restaurant Zur Elbe is just steps from the historic city centre. Until recently at the lively HalleschenStrasse. Since the bypass road is now finished, continuous traffic is very reduced. A small manko is the noise protection wall. However, this is even permeable, i.e. opposite the restaurant you have the opportunity to walk through the wall and a walk on the Elbwiesen. And the wall is nicely sick first, it looks even better. You can also walk through the opposite park. The Elbe is an old family business, but not dusty. The guest rooms are cozy, the guest rooms look inviting and the food is always very good and plentiful. Fresh and affordable. In the small beer garden, which was very beautifully embellished with various plants, you can spend the time quite well; . A long time ago on the signs in the house bicycle station was read. And even today, many cyclists still make a fool, as the Elbe cycle path leads along the other side of the noise protection wall.
We were looking for a cheap accommodation in Wittenberg, where dogs are also welcome. The owners of the Pension Zur Elbe are themselves dog owners so that dogs are welcome there. The location is on one side, very central to the historic old town and the castle church on the other side is the guest house directly at the old city railway station. We were partly awakened by the trains or the old rooms were very well shaken. The rooms and the entire guest house are old, inhabited and less welcoming. Breakfast is sufficient and relatively diverse. The owner family was very brittle to us and we tourists came to us as if they were disturbing everyday life there. Not unfriendly, only apatic and from the other Saxon-Anhaltinian cordience is no trace here! For 54EUR (no card payment possible) per night with breakfast for two people with dog It offers windproof accommodation in a nostalgic room. We wouldn't be back there. No recommendation!
