Im Lottental - Witten

We ate at this restaurant while staying at the hotel next door. In my experience, it's somewhat common to find a good meal next to a good hotel in Germany. We met for an evening meal with our host company on a business trip. The restaurant was lively, but not too busy or overcrowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. As with most wait staff in Germany, they are well trained, take pride in their work, and pay attention to detail. I ordered pork, because it's always good (if you're ever unsure what to order while in Germany, you can't go wrong with anything pork). The meal was beautifully presented and was delicious. Add a nice glass of dry riesling and you're in heaven. No dessert for me, but I could see what others were having and it looked good. Definitely eat here if you're staying next door, but it's also worth the drive if not.

This is a beautiful and cozy restaurant in an attractive green area of Bochum, called Stiepel, not far from the RUB. The food is excellent, with tender meat, fresh salads, and very elaborate starters. The staff is very kind and helpful. The quality/price ratio could be improved in fact it is a bit expensive compared to the other restaurants in the area, but still in line with the best spots in the city, like Waldesruh, zum Neuling, Rietkötter and so on. I will come back when I have a chance.

Dear team of Post's Lottental Thanks for the beautiful wedding we celebrated with 54 guests on 15.07.2017. From champagne reception to appetizers, the main course, dessert to midnight snack, everything was excellent. The team took care of our guests and us all day. All our wishes and ideas have been optimally implemented. A special thanks goes to DJ Andi from the Post's Lottental, who brought the dance floor to boil. Unbelievable. We can only recommend the location as well as the barbecue buffet.
