Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this restaurant on a Sunday in search of a Thai meal, as other nearby restaurants didn't open early. The restaurant was charming and clean, and it wasn't too busy. We had the option of choosing from a set menu or ordering individual dishes, and we both opted for the set menu. The meal included tom yum mushroom soup, spring rolls, chicken bites, and sweetcorn cakes, all of which were delicious for the price. The chicken red curry we ordered could have used a bit more spice, but it was still tasty. The beef dish was also enjoyable, and we had egg rice and chips since noodles were not available. We ended the meal with a delightful chocolate cake. One of the highlights was the draft Singha beer, although my husband couldn't enjoy it as he had to drive.
I am always eager to try Thai food, so when I heard about a new addition to the street food menu at this restaurant, along with the return of a seasonal favorite dessert, I knew I had to plan a night out. The staff greeted us warmly and provided attentive service. I ordered the newly added char siu pork and rice dish and was impressed with the presentation. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the pickled ginger added a subtle yet special fragrance to the dish. The quality of the meat was exceptional and it was evident that it was prepared with care. For dessert, I indulged in the mango and coconut rice, which was the main reason for my visit. Let's just say, I will definitely be returning for more soon!
I made a reservation for 7:30pm on Saturday evening. However, a large party arrived after us and we were made to feel like we were in the way. Our meal was rushed and the waitress was very unfriendly. The rice was heavy and the main course was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for a while. When we expressed our concerns upon leaving, the staff seemed disinterested and simply shrugged their shoulders. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
We had a lovely meal at Siam, the service was excellent, and the food was lovely, would definitely recommend the Chicken Yellow Curry for anyone who's not keen on spicy food.
We arrived at half six and had a lovely pint or two of Singha cold lager. The starters were served very promptly and we enjoyed the chicken wings , ribs and duck. the mains were arriving too and all was delicious. The special(70) was pork belly with chilli. it was served with jasmin rice and the other thai green curry and lamb dishes served with coconut rice. We concluded with icecream for the kid and the mango and coconut rice pudding. A cocktail was also consumed enthusiastically and a couple more cool beers rounded off a lovely evening. Do visit, the service is outstanding from Pinet the waiter and all in all a lovely evening with real authentic Thai food and music too.
