The food was excellent, the service was very friendly, and they allow you to bring your own alcohol. The waitstaff was very pleasant and the prices were reasonable. The happy hour deals were very good, and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was also very flavorful.

I have dined at many Indian restaurants in Liverpool, but Alam Balti is the best restaurant I have ever experienced. I tried the Chili Masala curry and it was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Korma, which isn't usually my preference, but she really enjoyed it. Initially, I had a negative impression from the outside, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Indian curry. I even travel from the city just to have their curries. The prices are reasonable and they also allow you to bring your own drinks.

Dreadful food, very difficult to make Indian food bland but by they achieved it by the plate full. Plenty more restaurants in the area to try so I would recommend you did..

We ordered a takeaway from here on Xmas eve. Neither my wife nor I eat meat so we ordered a veggie byriani and a veggie masala. The byriani was fine but the masala was an embarrassment. The sauce was great but the “”veggies” comprised of potato and a few green beans. The sauce that came with my wife’s byriani had more veg in it. It was our first experience of this place and it’s likely to be our last!
