Winthrop Arms

Great little hotel in a lovely quiet spot. We missed a connecting flight and booked the Winthrop based on the other reviews and we're really happy to have found it. First night of honeymoon saved! The staff.were so welcoming and friendly, the food was incredible and the room was spotless. The Arms is the best! My mom’s go to hotel when coming to visit and you can’t beat the friendliness of the staff and their food!! A staple in Winthrop for those who have lived here all their lives and so welcoming to newcomers Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

It's just Okay. Basic rooms that are a bit dated and could use some TLC. Very few (if any) amenities provided but sufficient for a one night stay close to the airport if you bring your own toiletries. Keurig and fridge in room were not used by us. Walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors conversation as well as the kitchen of the restaurant. Luckily we travel with a sound machine so we could tune it out. Check in is at the host stand in the restaurant. Short walk (1/2 block) to oceanfront parking. Restaurant service was polite and efficient, food was okay. Overall, for the price, I'm more likely to chose a chain hotel, which is usually a more guaranteed experience. Rooms: Dated with obvious wear and tear. Heat was non existent Food drinks: Mediocre at best for food. Drinks were good but nothing special. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 4

Had a short stay here prior to a stay in Boston centre. Really enjoyed our stay here, friendly staff tried the restaurant very good I like exploring on foot, this was a great place to stay. No breakfast service, there is a place nearby. Noteworthy details: Within easy reach of coffee shops, nice place to explore. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Absolutely amazing hotel, clean and affordable. Beautiful location and great environment very close to the beach. Very professional, well organized, helpful staff make staying here a very pleasant experience. Nice clean rooms are perfect size with all amenities you can need with amazing views of the ocean. Also, the restaurant here is an exceptional experience I would highly recommend as the food is delicious, very affordable, and an enjoyable experience. Very nice community atmosphere.
