Pizza Ranch - Winterset

It was my first time ordering here. I've eaten the pizza before, but never ordered. The pizza crust was mediocre. The person who took my order was having a bad day and didn't wear it well. There was complaining and arguing with staff. Slamming things around. My order was not ready within the hour I gave them. When I came back a second time to get it, I was almost given the wrong order. They didn't even ask if it was what I HAD ordered. Not impressed. Still have money on the gift card so I will go back, but only to use it up.Go to CASEY'S insted...

Today March 1st 2024. My girlfriend and I came to Winterset Iowa. To visit the John Wayne's Museum and the coverd Bridges. So we decided to stop into the Pizza Ranch for dinner around 4pm. We noticed a few vehicles in the parking lot. So we stopped in to eat. We ordered the buffet and to our surprise. There surly wasn't much on the hot table. The Pizza that was there was dried out. Along with the chicken and potatoes. We fix a plate since we already payed. Myself made a salad and a couple of dried out slices of pizza. The girlfriend did the same. We chocked down what was in our plate. Definitely not worth the $36 dollars. When we left the same Pizza remained on the hot table.

ORDERED CHEESEBURGER PIZZA AND BUFFALO WINGS FOR DELIVERY. CHICKEN WAS SUCCULENT AND GOOD. WOULD EAT THIS AGAIN! EATING THIS PIZZA WAS LIKE CHIEFING DOWN A CARDBOARD BOX. HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL AND FIR THE PRICE EXPECTED A REAL TREAT, BUT INSTEAD I DID NOT. DELIVERY DRIVER WAS PHENOMENAL AND WAS THE BEST PART OF MY EXPERIENCE.

One adult didn’t want to eat which seemed to be a problem to the cashier and throughout visit they kept checking to make sure they were not eating making uncomfortable. Food was not too good or fresh.

We have a great pizza ranch in Pella. So when others don't meet there standard... Meh.
