Bidrage med feedbackGood food. I had an omelette with potatoes, and it was excellent. I will definitely go back to the chicken and waffle part was huge. Not cheap, but very fresh and fill.
So glad we found this little jewel! We hadn't waited, could sit outside and enjoy the weather. The menu is simple and delicious, Piccolo Coffee Co inside with delicious special syrups and drinks.
Eggs Oats is conveniently located in downtown conservatory, in front of the center of Centennial Plaza. It is impressive that, although the facade of the restaurant is quite simple, with a few tables and chairs in front of it when you go inside, it seems as if you were transported into a scenic riding style dining shop in the countryside. The coffee is good, with your typical free refills, but the mix of beans make it taste like the actual coffee, and not your regular dirty water mix from most chain breakfast restaurants. They also have oat milk (to live up to its name). About food they have gluten-free options, such as bread with avocado in the pictures, and their homemade potatoes are unmistakably seasoned to taste like no other. As far as my cat's omelet is concerned, it was somewhat short of my expectations regarding the wort, and it was a little dry, especially when chewing the parts with the crushed chicken, but the parts with the vegetables and bacon was well moistened. Overall, it is a great option with friendly staff who needs some work on some dishes, but their location is unbeatable, especially on Saturday after the peasant market, because it is in front of the parking garage and next to the market area itself.
Great food and coffee. We loved sitting outside on the terrace with our dog. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Veg chicken and waffles. A great thank you to our server that helped our hungry 3 years! We'll be back.
Updated- my now GO TO spot. Great service. Incredible coffee! Previous review from 10 months ago.I'd like to rate this place higher... it has potential and I desperately want a good bfast place in DTWG... but it's underwhelming all around and too highly priced for what you get. Ordered an Eggs Bene with potatoes. Bene came out completely cold...ZERO steam or warmth. Cold eggs on a biscuit are just not good. Potatoes have nice flavor, but again, they were not hot. Server was nice for initial table greet, but they NEVER one time stopped by to check on my meal or if I needed anything. He only came back to deliver the check. I would have asked him to microwave my food, get some ketchup and some napkins... but nothing. Ate most of my cold food, paid and left. Will not be returning. Ps- food looks aesthetically pleasing.
