Bidrage med feedbackI went here for drinks and food with a friend on a Friday after work in the summer. The patio was nicely decorated and quite beautiful, especially being a floor up from Corydon gives you a bit of a break from the street noise. The food wasn't great though for me. It just wasn't as flavorful or seasoned as I had hoped, which was disappointing given the prices. Maybe it was just an off night or what I ordered, as I've generally heard good things about this place. And our server was fairly disengaged. But the patio, as I've said, looked quite nice. The menus are a copy of something hand drawn (in a good way, very cozy and familiar) and there is a hip trendy vibe here if that's your thing.
Discovered this gem of a place after a disappointing experience at another restaurant earlier in the evening. What can I say ?Awesome rooftop funky dining experience with cool beverages and funky food !The food was delicious, they were out of a few things on the menu but I suspect that is only because it was so delicious!!Need to prepare better!Anyway I’m not going to beat up the food , it was Awesome and the 3 stars is just because of the items sold out and the presentation could have matched the environment better in a clean funky kinda way.It was a solid experience all around and no disrespect to the kitchen in any way !!The service was fantastic, the whole atmosphere was a breath of fresh air for Winnipeg!!Wish I’d discovered it sooner but definitely recommend and will be returning!Good vibes, good food, good people!
The Roost has been a go to spot for my friends and I for a while now, each time is amazing. Between the cozy and comforting atmosphere, to the great cocktails and food. The bartenders and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable with on the entire menu. As well as classic cocktails and creating cocktails based on your likes and dislikes. I would recommend coming here to anyone.
A well hidden gem..above Milk SmithService was exceptional..A fantastic bartender (Luke). And a quaint bar. No pretense at this place...down to earth, friendly, natural service...Smoked olives... amazing with blue cheese, fig balsamic and walnuts ??Search this place out ..you won't be disappointed..
I've been here a few times, once in the winter and twice this summer. I love the vibes of this place! Small, dark, cozy interior with a pretty, bright, open roof top patio. Bartenders are always welcoming as soon as you enter, and service is helpful and kind. This is a place you can enjoy alone or with a few friends, and their food menu is unique and tasty. I still think about their delicious broccolini I had in the winter time! Lots of mocktail options on the menu, which is great to see. I'll definitely be back!Parking: Street parking on Corydon is free anytime except max two hours Mon to Sat from 0900 1730.
