Pizza here is amazing - pasta is very mediocre__Went here for dinner and ordered pizza - absolutely amazing.

Best pizza in Winnipeg, spicy sauce - not your ordinary bland stuff from the big chains.

Overall great experience. Lots of selection, very filling portions, good evening out. We hit all you can eat pasta night but I could barely put a dent in the second plate. Pizza was very good.

We went to Garbonzo's with another family who had been there before, but we hadn't. We ordered soft drinks, pizza, and a pasta dish. When my 6 year old asked for a refill of his Fruitopia, the server said that it wasn't Fruitopia, it was iced tea. We said it wasn't, it was the older boy who had the iced tea. After a little checking, we realized the waitress had mixed up the drinks. They were in an enclosed cup, so we didn't notice, and the boys hadn't said anything. I told the waitress I was not happy since I didn't want my 6 year old to have caffeine. She couldn't have cared less, and just refilled their cups with the correct drinks. Didn't offer a fresh cup of apologize, or anything. When the veggie pizzas came, we saw that the tomato on it was just diced tomato sprinkled on top after it came out of the oven. Like the same diced tomato they'd put in a salad. It might have been okay if it at least was cooked on the pizza. It wasn't. My husband's pasta dish came with cheese sprinkled on top and he mentioned that the menu didn't say there was cheese on top and she said they always sprinkle it with cheese, as if he should have known that. I repeated that it didn't say that on the menu. She then said they could make him another one but he declined since he didn't want to delay the rest of us. He just scraped the part with the cheese off. One of the girls spilled her drink and we used all our napkins to clean it up. She saw and commented, but she neither took away the mess of napkins, nor offered to wipe it up better. I finally asked her to take the wet napkins away, which she did, but the area was still all wet, and she made no offer or attempted to wipe it up. The kids said their cheese pizzas were fine. I've had better service at McDonalds, and would not go back to this place.
