The Hideout Bar and Grill - Windsor

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly bar staff who took my drink order. The food is always fresh and prepared with passion by the kitchen staff. I highly recommend this place for friends, family, or a quick meal.

The breakfast at this restaurant is generally good, but the steak is hard to chew. I have visited many times and always ordered the same thing, steak and eggs. Initially, they served a small piece of steak with eggs. However, with the new owners, they have changed it to a stew with eggs. The portions are now smaller and the meat is cut into very small pieces, which is disappointing. I feel like I would have gotten more meat if I had ordered the bacon instead. While the breakfast menu is popular and profitable, it seems like they are cutting back on portion sizes.

I met up with a group of friends for breakfast. We like to do this regularly, trying out a new breakfast spot each time. The Hideout, though not very big, was able to easily accommodate our large group and seat us together. The service was good and we all enjoyed our breakfast at the same time. It was a pleasant morning.

This is close to us, so we are immersed several times for lunch and dinner. we are never disappointed. their prices are very reasonable, the staff is always friendly and fast, and eating is great.

My husband was craving corn beef sandwich and Hideout did not disappoint. Visited during the week for lunch it was just before noon. Not a lot of patrons but a lot of take out orders and we did have to wait a bit to...get our lunch. It was delicious stacked high and piping hot. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
