Market Buffet - Windsor

We were at Nero's on a Sunday evening. Service was good. My wife had the special that was available on Wednesday Sunday....soup (I had it for her), salad, steak lobster. When the main dish was served it was cold, had to be sent back and came back hot. I had a steak and then everything for my meal was ala carte. Our steaks were not anything special. Our orders were over priced, over $300.00 for the two of us! Will not eat here again.

We went to the restaurant tonight. It was amazing.!!! Our waiter was so efficient. He was there whenever we needed him. We each ordered steaks and they were so tender. You can cut them with a butter knife. And they were both well seasoned. The crabcakes that we ordered as an appetizer were amazing as well. Deep fried beautifully.!! From the atmosphere to the incredible hospitality to the restauran, this restaurant is definitely a must do if you plan on visiting Caesars in Windsor!!

My husband and I went to Neros for dinner. He was happy with his meal, however, I on the other hand was disappointed. Ordered the shrimp, and a caesar salad. The 4 shrimp were good. However, the salad was a 4 bite salad for $16.95. Doesn't really matter how much you spread the lettuce on a six inch plate, its' still going to be a 4 bite salad. Now the lady beside me had the caesar that came with her meal, and it was noticeably much larger. When I asked the waitress, I was told this was the portion for $16.95. So for $39.90+ you get 4 shrimp and a 4 bite caesar salad. Want to raise your prices fine, but don't cut back on the portions. Welcome to Neros!

Our server Cathy, was exactly whom anyone in the restaurant industry would not want to be working in there place of business. She had no understanding of welcoming customers to experience a great meal with friend whom have not seen each other from before the start of pandemic. Her rudeness ,condensation and apparent lack of making people feel welcome into a beautiful restaurant, ruined a wonderful evening. Both her manager and herself , lack the manners and verbal skills to help make a very wonderful evening a truly great experience.. My husband and I decided to go to Windsor, we hadn't stayed in Caesars in a couple of years. We are older and Covid has made it so we don't travel much anymore. We decided to eat at NEROS. We requested our favourite waiter... Pete. He hadn't changed.........what a nice guy... and knowledgeable. First he suggested I try the escargot....I did ... wonderful....then the barramundi fish. I like fish and had never had barramundi before.... delicious. He remembered the wine I like and he did not disappoint. My husband had the Caesar salad and the rib steak...another winner! WE had such a great meal we have booked another mini vacation and are staying at Caesars and yes we will be having a gourmet dinner at NEROS .... maybe a couple of times.
