La Contessa Ristorante - Windsor

I have always wanted to try this restaurant after seeing it during my many visits to the area.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is decent, but the prices are too high for the quality. If the prices were lower, it would be more deserving of a 3-star rating. The menu has been updated since the restaurant first opened.

This restaurant offers a setting filled with homophobia and misogyny, serving up plates of awful food. The service was terrible and the customers were unappealing.

This is a family operation, Sahara the owners daughter was very service oriented hostes and server. We highly recommend this place to eat, their escargot was fantastic and their Salads with shrimp was excellent.

I have been here many times and the ambience and service is exceptional and I have never met a awkward server here.The meals are freshly made.The last time I had a **** Mary to start which was amazing followed by orange roughy which was delicious.The other wonderful meals I have had include the seafood salad which can easily serve as a meal itself. Others were calamari,antipasto,fettucini avagosta,rigatoni Toscani,veal crema all delicious and in large portions.You can finish with their signature tiramisu . Will revisit forever.
