The Frying Saucer - Windsor On

If you haven't eaten here yet, please do. Amazing food, quick, reasonably priced and the guy running the spot is awesome. My husband and I brought our toddler there for some good ol' poutines and they didn't disappoint. This guy needs multiple trucks or spots. Super duper highly recommend friends. The Frying Saucer is by far one of the best places for poutine in Windsor-Essex. Just walking up and ordering you can tell this business owner takes pride in his product and service. It was our first time so he talked us through the menu and the specials he had available. There were four of us so we split a UFO (pictured) and a four pack of waffle dogs. The curds were melty and those little ones off to the side were squeaky. The gravy was awesome. Just salty enough but not over powering. I will be back to try another poutine but with Dill Pickle dust this time and to watch someone do the food challenges.

Poutine was good. At least they used real cheese curds. Other stuff like the chicken strips were a bit disappointing. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Classic Poutine, Waffle Dog
