James is always a lovely landlord and host whenever I meet friends here for a drink when I’m down from the midlands.

Nice beer, staff where friendly, the atmosphere was brilliant.

I enjoyed performing for everyone on the odd Monday evening for 3 hours ...I am a folk/ Indie Singer Songwriter .I am also a Veteran In recovery . Would helps if this pub actually served food as indicated on their website and Tripadvisor. Apparently they have not served food for a long time. A shame as it I was looking forward to a nice Thai meal.

Had a nice afternoon in the garden, friendly staff and locals, we had some really nice Thai food too.
