Gilbey's Bar & Restaurant Eton

Christmas dinner on Saturday for about 15 of us. Great location and wonderful food, looked a nice restaurant but staff were really disinterested and rude. Food was delayed, we sat down at 8pm and had main course served at 10pm. Such a shame I’m sure they’d had a busy day but that’s the job isn’t it. Something not right with the team or management.

Had the most amazing meal here! Fantastic quality of food and interesting menu. The waitress was lovely and I am genuinely impressed. Would come back here as often as I can afford.

Love Gilbey's. Honestly, Sunday lunch here is a good notch or two above the standard fare. Great service, lovely decor. Don't hesitate if you are in the area. Thanks @gilbey's for looking after us today!

Very good restaurant and would recommend. Highlighted by the fact that Tom Kerridge was eating in there at the same time as us. We went for the fixed price 2 course menu at £23. Excellent quality food, portion size was what you would expect from a quality restaurant.

Cannot speak highly enough about this place. We were a party of 13 and nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. It's low key relaxed but smart. Food outstanding. We ate off the party menu 3 courses for £30. Highly recommend. Will come back as soon as I can. Lovely walk through the town to get there from our hotel.
