Bidrage med feedbackNot an upscale place. Do not let the price tag and verbiage fool you. Unfortunately like others mentioned ambiance is a complete miss. We had dinner reservations at 7:30. By 8:30 workers were cleaning and moving tables around as if they were about to close the doors. This makes for a very unwelcoming feeling and cheap. Cocktails were made inconsistently, the liquor in the cocktails tasted cheap too. I ordered a festive drink that was supposed to be garnished with cranberry and rosemary and it came with neither. The steaks were cooked to temperature but the a la cart sides were very disappointing. The asparagus was good that 's about it. The complimentary bread was stale, it was as if they baked it and left it out for hours. Brooms and swifters were left at a table right behind us. The service was pleasant. For the price though I expect more
My wife and I had an amazing dinner this evening at Zachary?s Chophouse in Windham NH. The grilled octopus was tasty and the charred shallots were texturally perfect. We then moved on to a scrumptious 36 oz Cowboy Steak with a mouth watering impressive bark which was seared to perfection. The Lobster Mac was loaded with the sweetest Maine Lobster. We received great wine paring suggestions and perfectly mixed cocktails. If you?re looking for a stuffy formal atmosphere, this might not be your cup of tea. If you want an excellent quality chophouse experience with a slightly more relaxed and friendly approach, this just might be your new favorite haunt!
First time trying this place on a Tuesday evening. It was pretty dead but that had zero affect on the speed or the quality of the food. Everything was incredible! We did the meatballs and French onion soup for apps, lamb chops and filet for entrees with lobster Mac asparagus. We did a pizza for the little one, and cake and ice cream for dessert. We had 2 rounds of drinks which were on point as well! Russ was our server and he was awesome, very attentive and personable! It was a great experience, we will definitely be back here soon. For those complaining about ?ambiance?? the food and service blows that out of the water so that wasn?t even a factor.
We had a pretty great experience here. It was our first time going and we definitely want to go back. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were nice and tender. The sides were great as well. We got the twice baked potatoes and brussels sprouts. Some of the best sprouts I've had in a while. While the sides are portioned to share, the twice baked potato won't leave leftovers when split with 2 people. Drink menu is on the shorter size, but the drinks we got were very well done. The caesar salad very heavy on the anchovy, as there were 2 large anchovies topping the salad. Not a fan of that... And the French Onion soup was good, but standard. The service was great though. We originally ordered the salad with no anchovy, but a mix up led to them coming anyway. Our waitress immediately took care of it for us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
A hidden gem!!! I?ve been all over the world and back, seen it all?. This place actually had far better cocktails, apps, and sides out of any other place I?ve ever been to. This would be my new daily secret hangout. I own my own restaurant, dated famous food critics, and traveled the best restaurants in the world, and this place does not get enough credit!!! Drinks 10/10 (bees knees) Oysters (6/10) Muscles(10/10) Asparagus (10/10) Twice baked potato (10/10) Steak.. presentation 10/10, musk 3/10 Honored to be one of the first to comment, Im sure in a few years there will be thousands of reviews. Good job guys!!! My review will be lost in the sauce sooner or later, but boy do these guys deserve it!
