Flunch Boulogne - Wimille

Always a break for lunch when shopping over the last 30 years, but what happened to it? Yes, it has a makeover with a cuddly thing to tell you that your meal is ready and a leak of color/fruit, but the steak... was overcooked and hard, is this a first in France? and Veg poor, the best was the wine, oh...

We always visit Flunch when shopping at Auchan. The restaurant is modern and clean and offers good food at very affordable prices. You have a variety of appetizers and desserts. For the net you can have everything from a Brat chicken to a grilled steak... and then help yourself from the vegetable buffet. Most of the veg is either frozen or from a can, but this is for the course in France.

For a supermarket, self-service restaurant you can not much better. There is a wide selection of dishes. Most of them are cooked to order and taste. For children it is the best! Vegetables can be refilled. Draught Beer and wine are all excellent. Free ice and water. Best for lunch for more choice and before the vegetables low! Most customers are not good to place their trays and emptiness on the racks, so that tables need to be deleted from the staff so that you can finally remove other people's stuff. Microwave reheating machines available, although we always eat our salad before we get our warm food. Good coffee!

Not a good place to eat. Service is not what I'm used to in France, food is just edible. Unfriendly staff not very helpful.

We always try and eat in a Flunch when we are doing a road trip,you are guaranteed a good selection of veg ect,even better when its Moules Frites night because the french just keep queueing up for unlimited mussels and Chips!!people on the table next to us had a least six buckets of Mussels each! a sight to behold! normally you pick your meat/main meal pay for it and then head to the buffet to add different types of veg,pasta,cous cous,rice sometimes salad and of course Frites!
