The Shady Llama - WIMBERLEY

First time here and it didn?t disappoint? with the exception of not being greeted by llamas. The view is very relaxing and the beer was tasty. The food truck was beyond delicious! The ground beef taco was one of the best tacos I?ve had. Very flavorful,fresh and perfect portion for my hangry self. My husband ordered the burger which was also very good. He dug into it so fastthat I wasn?t able to get a picture for my review. I was fortunate enough to chat with the owner of the food truck, she was sosweet and very appreciative of my feedback.

Stopped by to check out this place and we just loved it! The views are awesome. There are several sitting areas to sit and have conversations with friends or family under the oak trees and it is very dog friendly which is important to us as we look forplaces that are dig and kid friendly. There's bean bag toss to enjoy, colorful hammocks in the trees to watch the sunset, superclean unisex bathrooms, great beer selection and wine selection. The llamas are definitely a cool bonus draw to theestablishment but the ambience, service and views make it. Looking forward to returning to Shady Llama when we come back to theH.C. Note: if you come in July bring lots of water or come later in the evening because it's hotter than a hookers door know onpay day.

This is a beer garden with a food truck (Gringas Grub Shak) on site. Loved the vibes here, from the hammocks and amazing views to the llamas on their property. The food and beer were really enjoyable on a Saturday afternoon. The place was not too busy atall since we arrived close to their opening time, the sitting areas are all fairly already spread out too. They had four llamasin the back and we were able to feed them by talking to the bar staff.

Cool little outdoor spot with drinks, views and a food truck. Loads of regional beers on tap, several ciders and wine as well. The view at sunset is spectacular and the llamas and donkeys are friendly!

The best sunset around! Great beer, good food. Bathrooms are A/C which is excellent in the summer. I just wish they would install a change table in one of the bathrooms! We love coming here with our kids to enjoy the day, feed some llamas, and takein the hill county.
