Bidrage med feedbackWe stop there for lunch but we had wine tasting first. The fishtank in the middle of restaurant is magnificent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The seaweed salad and kimchi entreé are a must try. We had salmon salad and shushi rolls for main. What a perfect combination of Japanese and wine. Probably the best lunch experience on our trip in Margaret river.
Took a friend visiting WA for lunch. Again some of the best food. Fresh and tasty. Got there early, no problem getting a table. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Good drinks list as well. One of my favourites. Definitely worth the visit and will not be disappointed
I've heard so many great reviews about Fishbone. Was not disappointed. The katsu chicken was cooked to perfection. Awesome customer service. Isaac the waiter was very friendly and you could tell he enjoyed his job. Highly recommend!
I was surprised by my pleasant experience.Yes, it looks like a shed by the side of the road. Yes, it can get very loud inside. Yes, the furniture is not fancy or high end. Amelia Park this ain't.The food though is good and full of flavour. My tempura udon soup was a generous bowl of al dente udon in a tasty broth that wasn't too salty and with pleasant tempura. We loved the lotus chips and multiple servings of the gyoza (vegetarian- extra points).Wines were excellent if you drink their reserves, especially their 2011 Cab Merlot.Staff were young, a little green but enthusiastic. The room is clearly too small for how busy they can get. Hopefully they can and will expand. Not much of a view as they do not have elevation. However, the cows in the next paddock are a cute touch and provide visual interest through the large windows.
I recently popped into fishbone for a bite and some champas, and boy was it amazing! The service was lovely, everyone was bubbly and willing to chat, but also very professional! Great mix !!The food was light, flavoursome and quite fast might I add. I would most definitely recommend the Karagee Chicken, Double Salmon Roll and the Tataki. I would also recommend you book, the restaurant seemed very busy, as did the cellar door. (Proof something is being done right) xWill definitely bring the girls back here!
