Lambtons - Wiltshire

While staying at The Bear Hotel, we enjoyed breakfast at Lambtons Restaurant. As frequent travelers, we found the breakfast here to be one of the best we've had. The portions were huge, made with high-quality ingredients, and served by a friendly, efficient waitress. We highly recommend it.

The restaurant was not very busy during the evenings we were there. I thought it was lacking in atmosphere, but the food was decent. The service at The Bear is always exceptional. We heard that the hotel's franchisee recently changed, which could explain the mixed ratings.

We made a reservation for dinner at Lambton's Restaurant on Saturday. The menu was just the right size, offering a selection of interesting dishes. I chose the spiced grilled salmon as a starter, followed by the pan fried chicken, while my partner opted for the roasted rump of lamb. For dessert, we both enjoyed the breaded banana. The presentation of the entire meal was impeccable. The restaurant is elegantly laid out with tables adorned with white tablecloths, a touch not often seen in many restaurants. In our opinion, Lambton's is the best place to dine in Devizes, offering fine dining at its finest.

After trying dishes in the recent Food Festival went for dinner with friends. Really excellent cooking, and good service, but people of Devizes, Use it or Lose it! No one else there.
