Great Burger and coffee good service. Handy location when we did TOOWOOMBA CARNIVAL OF FLOWERS. Been a few times consistently good

We have been to Annie Lane three times in the past three years. The menu has noticeably changed since our last visit, now mainly featuring burgers instead of a variety of lunch dishes. However, we found the burgers to be delicious. The staff remained the same, maintaining their efficient service.

This little cafe is hidden way in what was a small handy craft complex. It really is a little gem , with very pleasant surrounding . Food is cafe style but again very acceptable, and the staff very efficient and pleasant . OK so what was not so good. The seats, are rock solid and uncomfortable. I assume lack of any seat cushions is due to Covid, but I am sure far more comfortable seats that can be wiped with disinfectant if that is what is required under covid rules, could be purchased at a reasonable cost from an auction house. Finally the coffee well to be honest it is awful, week and tasteless. If they changed brands to Toowoomba's much loved Merlow Coffee Beans I am sure far more locals would visit for a coffee and lite lunch.

Visited today for our anniversary lunch. Ordered a kids pizza (loved that they could be customised with any two topping from the main pizza range), nacho fries with bacon, crispy clucker burger with a side of onion rings and a kids nuggets. All the food was delicious, some of the best onion rings we have ever eaten. Have never had a bad meal here. Will definitely be back again.

We tried a variety of pizzas and found the traditional ones to be average, while the gourmet options were not very good. The restaurant did not have Coca-Cola, but instead offered a questionable imitation.
