Bidrage med feedbackI have been living in Thailand for the past six years. When I come home to Dover, DE I always look for an authentic place to eat Thai food. Soooooo glad I discovered this place. I have actually been to the province that the owner and her mother are from. It was very nice to carry on a conversation with them in Thai language. This place is definitely authentic. Let’s get to the food, these ladies definitely did not forget how to cook their native Thai dishes. Everything was seasoned perfectly! When I asked the owner to turn up the heat, like I like, although I would have liked it to be spicier, it was to my satisfaction. I will be back! Kob Khun Krab!
Food was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. Good size portion for the money. Service was slow, didnt bring any napkins to the table or really seem to want to do anything beside chat it up with a customer maybe friend at the bar. Otherwise a nice spot.
Amazing, I mean amazing, fresh food. The restaurant is authentic and charming. This place is a hidden jewel.
Bangkok House is a staple in Wilmington. They have been around forever and they NEVER disappoint. Everything is made fresh to order. Family owned and operated plus they are always pleasant and accommodating. The young lady who takes my order is like a breath of fresh air. It’s rare to get such good customer service now a days, and I work in the field. My only complaint is that they are closed on Monday! Remember to leave a couple bucks tip for take out and 20% minimum for dine in. They are truly a gem.
Make sure to inform them that you don’t want fish sauce or eggs in your salads. The food is very tasty, but if you don't specify "mild," it can be quite spicy. I visited with a group, and everyone really enjoyed their meals, which included several delicious meat dishes like duck. The homemade vegan coconut ice cream is also a must-try! I’m so glad I discovered this place.
