Sweet N Savory - Wilmington

I typically don't like to complain, but...my experience at this restaurant today for breakfast was not great. We arrived around 11am, and the waitress hardly spoke to us. It took 30 minutes for our order of eggs, biscuits, and gravy to arrive. Unfortunately, the biscuit and sausage gravy were terrible. It seemed like no one working there was too bothered by our dissatisfaction.

What a sweet little breakfast spot with the kindest staff. Definitely something for any mood you're in. I like the different options of ambience between inside, patio and outdoors. I do think the huevos rancheros would be way better with the bite of crisp corn tortillas but the pita bread was a fun change.

The restaurant received a health score of 91. The service was extremely slow and my burger was overcooked, again. I have decided that I no longer want to give this place a chance. The manager was also unpleasant.

Worth the wait. The only thing better than the food was the service. My party of 6 waited 45 minutes for food, which was perfect. Shrimp and grits, omelets and avocado toast. Took some cheesecake to go. Our server was attentive, professional and took great care of us. I wish I could remember her name, because she truly was spectacular. It was very busy on a Saturday morning, but we would absolutely do it again. Service: Dine in

Went there after seeing an article about it. I ordered beef brisket sandwich. I couldn't eat it. They had asked if I wanted wet or dry so I said half. It had so much fat I couldn't eat it. The other person ordered the chicken breakfast bowl. It was good except for the chicken. Won't be trying again.
