Smoke On The Water - Wilmington

Do NOT come here to eat the food. It is such a beautiful place to get some drinks and watch the sunset on the water, the food on the other hand is so so bad. You can make it 10x better yourself, they use no seasoning. Everything is so bland. My boyfriend and I had went with another couple and we all agreed none of us liked our dishes. I got the tacos, once again-not good. WHY do y'all over cook your fries so much?? I couldn't enjoy those either. Such a disgrace, anyways I will be back solely for drinking on the nice outside patio and that's about it!

YOU JUST LOST A REGULAR CUSTOMER who works in the tourism and real estate industry and used to recommend your location to all my clients and customers!!!! AFTER 4 YEARS I WONT BE COMING BACK... POOR HEAD MANAGEMENT AND OWNERSHIP!!! I live in North Wilmington in Ogden and drove 40 minutes with traffic to enjoy a nice afternoon having drink and some BBQ only to find they were CLOSED on A SATURDAY afternoon for some big event who bought the whole restaurant SHAME ON THE OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT for selling out to big events and not having space open for their regular customers. I DONT HAVE TIME to CHECK YOU WEBSITE EVERYTIME I WANT TO VISIT YOUR LOCATION TO SEE IF YOU HAVE AN EVENT CLOSING THE RESTAURANT. 2nd time this has happened I QUIT!!! WHY WOULDNT YOU JUST LEAVE THE FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT OPEN AND PART OF THE PORCH FOR REGULAR CUSTOMERS. you wont last long if your not reliable as a lunch and dinner location. I WILL NO LONGER RECCOMEND YOUR LOCATION TO MY CLIENTS WHO ARE MOSTLY TOURISTS....... I would hate for them to make plans and arrive to see your closed . I spent $7.00 on gas round trip from north Wilmington for nothing I wont make that mistake again!! Manager on duty a blonde woman didnt seem to be bothered that I was a regular and that came from across town she was too busy setting up for the event!! Its one thing for a restaurant to close once a year on a weekday night for an employee Chistmas party etc... but to shut down completely and turn away your regulars BIG MISTAKE!! YOUR either a catering company or a restaurant you cant be both!!! Its ashame because the food was decent but who wants to eat at a restaurant THATS NOT RELIABLE!!! The least the manager could have done was offered to comp a meal or drinks for me on another visit since I drove out there for nothing!!! I usually spend over $50 on just myself when I'm there so this even must have been like $50,000 or something to turn away all other business however the owners dont realize the damage it does to their reputation!!!

Not sure how my wife found this place but it looked pretty cool and we decided to give it a try because I'm southern and I'm a BBQ Freak! We arrived at sunset and just the scenery was awesome. This restaurant is in a growing upscale area and the location on the water is really great. I'm going to cut straight to it, the food was amazing. I'm serious. Delicious. The portions were very generous. I had the trio platter and I loved it. My wife got a couple side items and she also shared my trio platter. She raved about the food. Excellent service. I live 45 minutes away but we can't wait to go back. I thought prices were very fair as well. This is an establishment that I'm sure you will love and we all need to support it. Twice this restaurant has accommodated our large group of jet ski riders. This time 10/15/23 there were 25 riders. The Smoke Brisket Sandwich is HUGE, great smokey flavor. Bring your appetite or prepared to take a doggy bag home. Service is friendly and quick to serve. It is a dog friendly establishment, plenty of pooches. The outside dining area is spacious and comfortable. The bar is well stocked with plenty from which to choose your libation.
