Capriotti's Sandwich Shop - Wilmington

I came to the position of the union street when alan and his sister just started the business. I've been going there for years and years, and now I'm sorry to say the quality is really dropped. they wanted to call a simple sandwich and complained that they would pick up a new one, the identical sandwich made the same wise and they had to make me another while I was waiting. simply not happy overall they tried to make it good, but even it messed up a simple sandwich. I don't think I'm going back.

We had a large order and it was ready on time. The food was good and the service great.

Staff was very unfriendly and berated several customers while I waited for my order. I get that a lot of places are understaffed but that does not make it okay to get nasty with customers who were asking honest questions. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

The cheesesteak was tasty but a bit lacking in meat. My favorite dish here is the tuna. It's simple, with no celery or unnecessary ingredients, and very good quality. However, I noticed that everything seems to have gotten smaller in portion size compared to how it used to be in the past.

I always love getting the vegetarian turkey sub from this place, it never disappoints! I've tried it at multiple locations over the years, but there's something about the Union Street location that makes their subs extra delicious. Thank you for the amazing flavor and love you put into your food!
