We stopped looking for a quick lunch on our trip back from Redwood NP. They had a very vegan friendly custom sandwich menu on their deli. They had a few vegenaise options, many vegetables and several good breads to choose from. They had tempeh, veggie burger, BBQ tofu, and portobello mushrooms as the protein/main options, but were made from veggie burger and tempeh on the day we ordered. I cured Tofu and it was excellent. They also had a vegan soup and vegan pack that I did not try. The market has many prefabricated vegan friendly options and tons of snacks.

We often stop here on our way to or from camping in Mendocino County. This place has a wide variety of healthy and vegan options—think of a whole foods store before it was acquired by Bezos. The deli is excellent, featuring veganaise, BBQ tofu (which I highly recommend), tempeh, vegan cheese, and many other ingredients to create a delicious sandwich or wrap.
I was thrilled to discover Onkel Eddie’s cookies at this place, and they also offered a more natural version of Red Reben (simple red vines) that tasted just like the original. I appreciated that the deli had an outside window where you could place orders without having to go inside. The staff were extremely friendly, making it a fun spot to visit. It was a bit pricey, likely due to its remote location, but overall, I had a great experience.
