Bidrage med feedbackKingsway Deli is a hole in the wall sandwich joint open for breakfast and lunch on Charleston Street, Willingboro, just off Rt. 130 north. It seems to specialize in breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and has limited inventory for anything beyond those basics. There is a small grill in back where the lone proprietress holds down the fort from order taking, cooking, packing and cashiering. Impressed with her ability to handle it all by her lonesome. Although I was there for a bagel, I quickly learned that Kingsway doesn't bake its own breads, but gets supplies from local markets. My Onion Bagel came right out of a plastic sleeve, was mass produced, and had to be toasted to reanimate. I could have any flavor cream cheese, as long as it was plain white. It was a better than average supermarket bagel, but a far cry from what was available at nearby real bagel shops. Yeah. Fair to say I was disappointed, but I still spent my money there, because it was obvious this shoestring operation needed some help. Oh! And they didn't offer coffee with their breakfasts. Had to stop elsewhere for the java, but on Rt. 130 that is not a challenge. Still, how can you grade a place like this higher than 3 Stars, when they lack a staple like Columbian Supremo? 2.5 Stars Perhaps, they shouldn't call themselves a bagel place.
I decided to try this deli because I grew up around the corner from it but never ordered food from it. I ordered a 12 inch corned beef hoagie. I didn't even notice there weren't tomatoes on the sandwich until the second bite. There was more meat than on a Primo hoagie and at 3/4 the price. I will order my hoagies from here for now on. The service is a totally different storyNot totally horrible but could have been much better.
I love Kingsway I've been going there for years. I do miss Misha and her husband though it was much more like a family business then..
They have the BEST Tuna salad. I only eat Tuna from here and if my Grandma makes it. Service is a little on the slow side but they’re so friendly and jolly. It’s like going to your Uncles house. I love it and I’m so excited to be moving back into the area.
I can't believe I was served bad eggs that had turned green while I was eating my sandwich. The taste was really off-putting, and now I have a horrible taste in my mouth that I'll need to brush my teeth to get rid of. I've never had a bad sandwich from this place before—just greasy ones—but I cannot deal with green and yellow eggs. I feel like I might throw up.
