Bidrage med feedbackMy family has been here for as long as I remember! It is located in the Williamstown Farmer's Market, and its food is simply wonderful. Fresh ingredients and family recipes make this little jewel a winner. If you stop asking for our favorite waitress, Wanda! She makes you feel like home, she's like family.
I love this little shop!!! So much to see....Beautiful healing stones and other unique objects everywhere. Your prices are very reasonable!!! I bought several stones at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back!!
Very crowded, but waiting wasn't long for Sll to place 5 of us! The chili was amazing except a lot of tomatoes that other ppl like, but I'm not a big fan of them. The service was great and all staff were very friendly with smile all the time, we are there! It seems very popular and we cannot wait to return!
The land Crock is located in the Stoltzfus Amish Farmer's market, which means it's only open Thursday morning to Saturday afternoon. If you think about a Mennonite or Amish restaurant, the first thing that comes into mind is simple and easy. Eating here feels less like sitting in a restaurant and more like eating in someone's kitchen homemade food. Plastic plates, vinyl table cloths and walls decorated with photos of owners and their family, set the stage for comfort food prepared and presented simply. Even if food is nothing imagination, it is delicious and clearly prepared by hand with care. Her BBQ pork sandwich is delicious as her meat store sandwich. (This is the only place where I have ever ordered a Meat Tau sandwich! Your maizefritters are one of my favorites and if you ask the server, let them replace them for the frits that would normally come with a sandwich. I don't often order Dessert when I look, but The Country Crock 's Desserts that vary weeks to week are always tempting. Sometimes it will be a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dessert like cracker pudding. I never had cracker pudding, but it was good. It tasted somewhat similar to rice pudding. Other times it is a bit more English like Boston Cream pie. Her Boston cream pier was one of the best I ever had. I hope to be a day when they have ugly cakes! Another nice note is that they comfortably have a calendar on each table that tell you what special features come in the coming weeks so that you can plan your visits. NOTE: Update: This restaurant has changed hands and is now called Village Grille. I was there once and it's NOT what it used to be. None of the foods seemed homemade.
Very nice country primitive. A little pricey but you can see everything and colors versus online
