Bidrage med feedbackI walked into the restaurant that was empty except for one or two tables and got gawked at. I got looked at me as if they didn't know why I was in there. Did they think I was looking for a job or something? That's not very hospitable. So anyway I ordered the fish fillet noodles which I paid a heft $13.90 for a 4 or 5 pieces of thin fried fish with a cups worth of noodles, some boiled vegetables and two fried crisps. The meal was too salty especially the fish and just tasteless apart from the salt overkill. I left immediately knowing I would never again return. I had to go the fish and chips store next door because I was still hungry. Overall waste of money and unsatisfying
Went and try their signature wanton soup and asian braised beef noodle... really love it! Travel to many asian countries and didn't expect this quality of traditional flavor in Australia.. the concept of msg free is a bonus to the dishes as i can drink up the whole bowl of soup without worrying too much about feeling thirsty. The chef told me to eat with their sampal and pickled chili if i feel the soup is a bit on the blend side for me.. very thoughtful. I choose egg and spinach noodle by the way.. will try the flat noodle next time.
Bad laksa, very average mee pok. I try this because it came out in google search as one of the best laksa in Perth . I suggest any of you from your brunch to take a day off go to Subiaco and go to crossway shopping where the red chair serves the best laksa I tasted in Perth. The difference is huge and that despite you make your own noodles is the wrong type of noodles to use. Saying that even if this is your own take on laksa the broth is not fantastic, it lacks the lemak taste. I tried the mee pok, is a better dish but no way it should cost over $10, have a look around Sarawak hawker serves kolo mee with similar ingredients at $7 If this dish shouts bah chor mee in my face I can easily forgive the price, unfortunately it doesn't, it lacks Chinese mushrooms, vinegar and a side soup for that price. Take a step back and find out how it is done and I come back. Good luck.
Okay... so I read through all the reviews and I honestly could not understand their frustrations. The interior design is nice and you felt a bit more classed than sitting somewhere else. Good atmosphere :) Food: Oh lord, my crispy chicken noodle dish was yummy as! Would totally recommend to be honest. Full of flavour and I love that it was dry. (Not a fan of soup) My boyfriend ordered the wonton noodle dish with soup, and I do think that there is a lack of flavour, however the wontons were good! Overall a really good experience and I cant wait to try other dishes and come back ????????
Very happy noodle forum has come south of river. I enjoy eating the crispy chicken noodles and spicy sauce with their yummy sambal. Service is fantastic. Nice and clean venue and easy to find parking
