It consists of one small slice of bread topped with avocado and cherry tomatoes, priced at 25naf. If you opt for sourdough bread, it will cost an additional 5naf. On the other hand, my friends ordered the breakfast Burrito for 25naf and received a generously filled Burrito with fresh fruit on the side.
The avocado smash is the only menu option available, but it is made quickly and simply with good quality sourdough bread. However, the prices are on the more expensive side.
The restaurant frequently updates its menu, but unfortunately had no vegan options available when I visited. There were a few vegetarian choices, and although I requested one to be made vegan, it seemed that the vegetables were cooked with honey. It also appeared that they forgot to exclude the feta cheese, as there were some pieces left in the dish. Despite these small issues, the food was still very good.
This restaurant has about fifteen tables, some inside, some outside. It is located on one side of the Kunstmuseum Landhuis Bloemhof. The first time I tried to eat here I couldn't find a table for two, nor could I get the attention of everyone on the staff to see if on a reservation list, and so after about ten minutes completely and completely ignored I went. Today I finally got a table, actually I sat at three different tables, I started in a very unpleasant chair in the sun, where I could see if someone else got up, and then I moved to better tables from the sun. It took about twenty minutes to get water and drinks. I wanted to order the Farmers Market Lunch sandwich with grilled vegetables and balsamico, but they were out of that, so I ended up to mount a croissant, sauteed mushrooms, and avocado, and Balsamico, who all came as separate items for myself. The components were good. Then we ordered a piece of carrot cake and waited another twenty minutes and realized that our waitress was gone, so that we had someone else down, and she brought us the cake very quickly. It was good, but very small. Overall, it took an hour and half to get a table and eat here. If you are at the Kunstmuseum and have nothing else to do this day, then go for it. The menu was very limited for vegetarians/vegans. We weren't told about any specials. Maybe if you go at the right time, if you have breakfast and lunch, you would have more options.
I loved having breakfast here. They have multiple vegan options to choose from and can customise everything.
