Bidrage med feedbackWe came here for a work function. The food was pretty good and plenty to go around. We loved the cocktails that were on the menu. Great service, however, even though the food we ordered for the function was organised before hand, the food that came out kn the night was not the same. Our organiser was not informed of any changes. It would have been nice if the organiser was informed so that other food options could be explored for dietary requirements.
Really love this place. Firstly the atmosphere is great and the music which was playing was good. I got the Feast Share Menu, the food was amazing. I’m from South America and the food did remind me of home. The Roti and Chickpea was probably the best.
By an absolute landslide, the favourite dish for everyone that night was the chicken ribs with jerk bbq sauce and crema fresca $16.00). Like I said before, we ended up having four plates of these, they were THAT good. The sauce was punchy and had a real kick to it, cooled down by the cream sauce drizzled over the top. I love the way they’d been fried – the outside was so crunchy and the inside super juicy.<br/ <br/ These can only be described as the food equivalent to crack.
In a year of the opening of many excellent bars and restaurants in town, 2018 ended with the opening of yet another place that promises to be a huge hit into the New Year – Panama Social. Taking the place of the short-lived Cyril Masons – and with the guys behind Mary Street Bakery and that other fabulous newcomer, Tinys, in charge you can expect big things. An attractive set up with lots of greenery from Little Green Scene – a mix of booths, tables and high top benches, a pleasant and cool al fresco area at back, a menu that is geared towards the cuisine of South America and a nifty wine list, everything comes together to create a semi-tropical haven in Northbridge.
Went there while Fringe was going so was a bit busy around 7pm. It is a great place for food and drinks. The food was amazing especially the pao de qeijos! Oh and the peanut butter dessert was so so good too! Highly recommend but make sure to book as they can get pretty busy!
