Bidrage med feedbackPittsburgh Native Returns. As a retired US naval officer, I traveled and ate in many places around the world. When I saw Mrs. Jean's Southern Cuisine on Kitchen Nightmares, I was delighted to see a restaurant near where I grew up. I've never been disappointed when I visited Chef Ramsey's restaurants in the UK, USA and Japan. When I visited for my Sunday dinner, it was buffet evening with many of the menu items that were missing because of the heavy snow. The catfish, potato salad, Mac cheese and 3 types of chicken wings were great for my meal. I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Mrs Jean and mentioning the reason for my visit. Keep the good work...
Words escape me, listen to me and listen carefully. Go to the Saturday morning breakfast of Jean. It's from this world. Your agitator is the best I ever had. Their potatoes and onions are ridiculous, they don't need a wort and are tasty. The bacon is crispy and turkey bacon is available. Pancakes are on request. Portions are ridiculous for $7. Jean is super friendly and great to talk. Well worth the trip for a truly spectacular breakfast.
