Lord Nelson Kitchen - Wigan

Went to have a drink in the beer garden with my two very small well behaved dogs, when, I assume both the landlord and landlady, came running out of the pub, shouting....No dogs...No kids...!!! When I asked why..covid 19 was the reply....!!!!!

Went last Wednesday night with my partner got a drink and sat down. 5 minutes later a bloke came over ans put his fingers in my drink and walked off to the bar. I went and asked him why and the landlady started giving it the big this is my pub routine. She said he collects glasses to which i replied, what, full ones? Then she told us to get out. I admit a few swear words did come out my mouth but if she employs this man surely she should of apologised for his actions. Never again. No customer service skills whatsoever. Avoid

Shocking customer service came in to watch the cricket .the pub has four tvs they refused to put the commentry on in spite of my politie request .so from now on its the hare and hounds just up the road for me .a far better cheaper cleaner pub .

Tried the Gammon this time just the small one but it was bigger than 4 ounce. It was served with egg, chips and salad. Tender Gammon and a runny egg with chips it's a must try. But those with a bigger appetite go for the Ten ounce Gammon it fills your plate!

The food is great, i had a cajun chicken salad, was refreshing and really tasty. Its a good place to have a snack or a good meal. Your average pub with the golden gem of food :
