We come here regularly as the beer is always spot on! They’re dog friendly and the bar is intimate and welcoming. Definitely worth the visit!

This is our preferred spot for a drink in Standish. They offer a diverse selection of beers that are always well-kept. The staff is friendly and inviting. We highly recommend this place.

Dropped in today to listen to the local artist, as usual a fantastic atmosphere and a warm welcome from the team .you never have to wait long for service and the best pint served in Standish.

Visited this weekend and the staff were rude and unpleasant. I know it must be boring to remind people about masks, etc. and having to wear them stood up but not sat on a stool which leaves you the same height as when stood up and I know the total lack of logic to these rules is not their fault but they were shouting at people in an unpleasant manner.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were aggressively reminded to wear a mask, despite only taking a few steps from the door to our table. We have been trying to support local businesses during the lockdown, but now feel unwelcome and discouraged from doing so. While we understand the need for businesses to follow new rules, the rudeness we encountered was unnecessary. We may choose to stay in until the situation improves, as the current atmosphere in Standish is not conducive to a pleasant dining experience.
