Curry Up - Wien

Had masala dosa who was very terrible. Not recommended for everyone. Avoid this restaurant if you want to taste authentic South Indian cuisine.

It was really simple South Indian cuisine with inexpensive . Try Sadam and idyllic when u r there. Good seating area and surprisingly large Wc.

Small self-service restaurant in the Franz-Josefs station with very good Sri Lankan or Indian food. the saadams - rice menus with various curries are particularly recommended. the portions look small on the first look, but make quite rich and are tastefully top. all the food is also available to take.

We traveled most of the time and came to Vienna quite late in the evening. With 3 children in the tow, we made it the first restaurant we saw this Indian restaurant. We sat down, it was quite warm and muddy... in the restaurant and a long time ago we began to be bombed by mosquitoes. We lived in many countries and then visited some, but have never seen anything like that, especially in a restaurant. We just stayed because we were assured that the Mossyspray was on the way. Food came with many more Mossy's our 3 years old refused to eat when he began to get fear until this time. We had to go through the middle. I thought honestly there was a form of compensation for the pain that is caused not only on our stomach (not eating) but also for the many bites!! while compensation would not have made the experience less painful, such a gesture and a little empathy would have gone far. Unfortunately, this has only increased our overall experience. We do not visit Vienna again, but for those who take note of it at any time soon!

This is the ideal place to go to when you don't feel like cooking and still want lots of vegetables and healthy food. I recommend that you eat at the premisses you can also take out but the boxes are not very cleverly designed...so you risk to mix up your rice with everything else). The best thing on their menu are the mixed vegetable curries- for 6 € you get 6 different vegetables. salad , rice and indian crispy bread. Add a kingfisher beer and your tab amounts to 9€ -it is wholesoma and authentic. The premises on the Argentinierstrasse are simple and clean with lots of student clients from the nearby technical university.
