Jack White's - Wicklow

Went for breakfast and the very clear instructions on the menu stated you cannot swop any items on the menu. Eg cant swop my beans for extra mushrooms etc. Despite the menu stating the food is cooked to order. And according to the lovely waitress, this is strictly enforced. Seems a very uncustomer friendly policy and certainly not one I've come across anyway else. The breakfast was fine. But the place lacks a warm welcoming atmosphere. There is no lock on one of the toilet doors. It was okay but it's a shame to see such a lacklustre establishment particularly in this day of high standards and excellence in our hospitality industry.

Popped by the roadside portion on our way into Ballygarrett this morning. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and the young man working the stand was very kind. It was so good for fact, we popped back in for lunch on the way back!

I love their 3 course meal deal. Great spot. Dog friendly as well.

It was quiet when I dropped in for a quick lunch, lots of parking outside, friendly staff and good food. Always a nice place to stop off to break the journey.

On my wish list, for a long time. Will go back again.
