The Bay Dunbeath - Wick

We got in late and the bartender welcomed us with a friendly smile. They have wood fired pizza so that’s what we ordered. They offer several beers on tap and have a good wine list. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is cozy with a fireplace too warm you and an amazing view of the cliffs and sea. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place, super helpful and friendly staff, we’re very accommodating on a busy Friday when I asked for a table without reservations. The fish and chips was amazing so fresh and red hot, generous portion and delicious. Orkney fudge cheesecake was amazing too.Great value for money and amazing view! Very nice restaurant and pub, located in a sweet spot with great views of the bay and the castle. The menu features besides burgers etc, stone oven pizza and not the standard types. The variations are very creative and would have liked to try more than one. Only when I left I learned that you could try to order half half. I had the Figgy Piggy which is kind of self explanatory it was super delicious. Staff was very friendly and quick. Better make a reservation, they tend to get busy in the evening.

Gorgeous food and great cocktails. Location and Views are stunning. Price was very reasonable as well, which was refreshing to see. Will be coming back here for sure.

Really excellent friendly service. A young lady working an apprenticeship made sure we didn’t run low on drinks! The views are really great from the beer garden. Dog friendly too. And the food looks/smells amazing.
