Bidrage med feedbackThe Crab cakes were the best breakfast dish I ever had hands down. It's a 4-hour drive to the restaurant. You don't have crabcakes every day. Honestly, I'd have to call the night before I went there because I wouldn't make the drive for another court. It is 5 1/2 hours to The Lemp Mansion Saint Louis the only other place I enjoy the crab cakes in the car distance. Other way it is an 8 hours plus ride. In Northwest Arkansas there is a place called The Buttered Biscuit, which has a court near this, but not at the same level. The Po Boy Factory in Huntsville, AL has the best crab cakes I had hands down. That said Doo-dah's dinner was pretty close to texture and taste. I'd make another 8-hour trip for this court.
Drove by here the night before, when we were coming into town from OKC. I actually pointed the place out to my wife and made fun of the name. I told her we would not be eating at the doo do diner. BOY WAS I GLAD WE DID! Doo Dah Diner is probably one of the top 5 breakfast spots we have eaten at. Sophia was our waitress and she did amazing. Service was top notch. Especially for the amount of people that were here. The wait was estimated at 20 minutes but we only waited 10 minutes. They are very efficient with their service. Took our plates when we were finished, instead of leaving them on the table. I was thankful for that because I wanted to keep eating but my stomach said no more! They said they were bringing homemade complimentary MONKEY BREAD to the table! I said, excuse me what did you just say??!!! That’s how it started! Monkey bread is great. I ordered the fried bologna and egg sandwich with blueberry pancakes and home made hash browns. I suggest getting the dill havarti cheese on it. It was very good. My wife had sausage gravy biscuit and two fried eggs. Biscuit and gravy were very good. We got a variety of foods and all of it was consistent and very good. Hats off to the cooks, bussers, and the wait staff! The food that was coming out to other tables looked just as good and well prepared. We will be back tomorrow morning for the BRUNCH BUFFET! I advise you to do the same!
First time exploring Wichita and went for breakfast here. Came in on a Sunday and it was set up as a buffet! I was a bit apprehensive as most buffets lose quality because of the quantity. However, their food was great! Great selections! Not the same typical breakfast. I was flabbergasted that they had pork belly. It was very tender, savory with a bit of sweetness. Absolutely incredible. Their jalapeño bacon was great. Banana pudding was awesome. I pretty much liked everything they had. Great service, very attentive and very nice. I know where to go anytime I visit Wichita!
Phenomenal service with food so good you would think your grandma made it! Came in during lunch rush, we had a 15min wait but were able to be seated much much fater than that. God made that one happen, ha. The complimentary sweet rools were amazing. The turkey and au ju sandwiches where great. The breakfast calzone was mind blowing. The grave o'lort!!! Ohh and the bread pudding be ready to come out with a sugar shock in the best way. If you're ever in Wichita you should definitely make your way to lovely family dinner.
Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Parking is limited. Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious! Triple D is perfect for sharing and all of it is delicious (get the biscuit and gravy too) The pancakes are good if you want something simple. Great price for great food! Will eat here again and recommend to others!
