Willie's Place Original - Wichita Falls

Upon entering, I felt like the prices were a bit high, but when you get your food, you understand why. For what you pay, it’s A LOT of food! The staff is friendly and the place is unique. It’s one of those places that look not so great on the outside, which tells you that the food is the best you’ve ever had. This is a definite MUST-STOP for anyone traveling through. I will be coming back for sure!

Stopped for a lunch break on our drive from Amarilllo to Houston, based on reviews and we were not disappointed. The ribs are so tender that they melt in your mouth and brisket is the same. The winner here is the BBQ sauce, sweet/spicy and perfect! Use the restroom b4 u get here as there are no facilities at this place. Otherwise, perfect in every way.

During Covid-19, we were passing through and tried their burgers. Pretty heavy on the mustard, good thing we like mustard! We chose the fat fries and lemon ice box pie dessert. The fries were good but the dessert very artificial tasting.

Very friendly folks in there. No restroom. I ate the beanie burger that day and onion rings. Not much flavor to the meat or cheese. The cheese really had no taste. Onion rings average as well. I have eaten MUCH better burgers in Wichita Falls. Just not for me.
