Fox Hound - Wichita East

There is no consistency in the service you receive. Unless you are with a group of people with absolutely no diversity and all look like you belong to a country club then you can expect to wait an hour for your appetizer. I have been there several times and when I am with a group of people who appear rich I get great service. Last night I went and they were not busy. The waitress came to us once for our order and once to bring our drinks. I ended up having to get our second drinks from the bar and ask the manager why two appetizers take over an hour. During this time I watched our waitress check on her other tables several times. I will not be going there again unless one of my rich white friends has a birthday there and I will get good service..

Great atmosphere at night, was there till close and our server had so much fun with us it made for a great experience.

Disrespectful patrons and staff. Trying to dance people came and sat at my table. Had to get ugly to get out of there.

My boyfriend, my friend and I are traveling from Atlanta to Denver and stayed in Wichita for a night. I wanted to watch hockey (San Jose sharks in Stanley cup finals) and my friend wanted to watch WWE Monday night. After getting a recommendation from /r/Wichita, we called fox hound to make sure we could watch our respective stuff and they not only said yes, they set us up in an unbooked party room with the hockey game on the big screen and raw on a smaller screen and with audio. They were super helpful with local beer recommendations and the food was delicious bar food. If I ever run through Wichita again I'm definitely gonna stop by here again!

Fox Hound is a popular watering hole in Wichita 's fashionable, Waterfront development. They have a full bar menu and as one of the previous reviewers said, ...typical bar food. The place is popular after work, during game day and a few nights attracts a younger, college age crowd. This location was at one point the flagship of the Fox Hound chain. I have had many good times with old friends at the F H as we abbreviate when texting. They have a fantastic beer selection and a great loyalty program for frequent patronage. They even have a social coordinator that works with University alumni programs and many other local clubs for special events at the bar and restaurant including sports, watch parties. The bartenders are some of the friendliest in the Midwest.
