Bidrage med feedbackNightfall is an absolute nightmare! And not the type you 'd wish for after spending $45 dollars a ticket with the hopes of being scared out of your mind. The actors are lackluster throughout the park and don 't seem too invested in working. The Boneyard haunt, which was touted as The best in the park (along with the Seance show, which I 'll address later), closed over 2 hours early. We were told the actors left but that we could technically walk through it, but no one is there. Why in the hell would we want to do that? The Walk of Terror had a line that ate up about 35 minutes of life while the event itself was over in about a minute and a half. Everyone was so close together throughout that jump scares were few and far between. The Seance line was even longer and the event was at least twice as bad. An old woman with some tarot cards turned out the lights, splashed water in our faces, and ripped the head off a doll. The only thing I was scared about was contracting a communicable disease. Lastly, the haunted carousel was a typical old fashioned carousel. The haunted part was demonstrated by two old toads flipping the lights on and off several times as we went round and round. Considering all of this, perhaps the biggest let down were the cocktails, which cost a fortune and tasted like hummingbird food. The least they could do is pack a punch to help patrons tolerate the overall misery of the Nightfall experience.
If you were thinking about going to Nightfall Old Tucson do not waste your money. Spent an hour waiting in line for the train ride, someone cut in front of our group to get on the train ride and then that same person started terrorizing all of the people on the train going on a racist gang fueled rampage. From the moment the train was in motion before we had even left the station be was yelling the N word and saying you don 't want this smoke BLOOD, you don 't want this smoke n Over and over again. I repeated several times THERE ARE CHILDREN ON THIS TRAIN STOP PLEASE STOP. It got to the point where I started lying to the guy saying CAN MY DAUGHTER PLEASE ENJOY THE TRAIN RIDE NOW?!?!?!? PLEASE STOP!!!!! (Mind you from the moment this kicked off while still in the station I got an employees attention and told them I didn 't feel safe being on this ride with this guy saying the n word threatening people but the train had already started moving and there was no way to make it stop at that point I was with a child on the back of the train 3 seats away as this drunk man is getting so irrational he is threatening everyone on the train. Then he decided to hang on the side train car with his butt cheeks exposed. I am so livid I spend $71 on tickets to then have to leave early because they didn 't even kick the person out, they just gave us a fricken scoop on ice cream. I was going to accept the ice cream as enough because they did not have any control of that man and they told me they kicked him out. But after the manager had walked us over the the ice cream we saw the guy again. Kick people who break the rules out!!!!! PERIOD Have some way that security can communicate with the train driver (I know they can 't because I heard them say is the train coming lemme check Have law enforcement available at your event if your staff is not equipped to handle this kind of situation. (All this should not be able to happen in a 5 minute long train ride but it did
Nightfall Resurrected was a blast last night. They must have really stepped up or reanimated? Haha their game since last/ opening weekend and since last year after some bad reviews. The haunted houses were fun and well staffed, the music, lighting and fog throughout the park were effectively creepy, the wandering zombies and scarers were great, the gargoyles were comically interactive, and the saloon's Festival... revue and arena's Grand Finale... Hyde stunt show were entertaining and just a little campy not nearly as lackluster or melodramatic as they have been in the past. I just miss the walk through the wash area from years ago en route to the far eastern side of the park, but that was it. Also, we never found The War Zone Maybe that's just Main Street? or The Boneyard scare zones We though they'd be haunted houses, too , and it looks like The Butcher Giants is really just a general zone for those scarers on stilts near The Wolves Den. No charge for parking this year, and the crowds were light last night, thanks to last week's critics ? , so need for the RIP passes to jump the lines. The Metabolic... line was the longest, but that was maybe just 20 minutes. I'd recommend getting there earlier than we did at 8, though, so you can do the other 6 shows, the seance, the fortune telling/ tarot readings, and then a 2nd round of the haunted houses before everything wraps up at 11:30. Thanks again, Nightfall! We had a great time.
Nightfall Had an absolutely amazing time. A little tired from running and screaming well organized and many scary houses. I was actually surprised how many there were. Actors did a great job!!! I saw bad reviews in previous year but I am happy for them that I see more good comments this year. I can't compare because this was my first time but I highly recommend it. There are many haunted house events throughout the country during Halloween season but the setting in Old Tucson is unique. Regular season I've been to Old Tucson during regular season and it is fun also. It's a must visit place if you are a Western movie fan. I didn't grow up watching it but still enjoyed it. My in law from Peru were big fans and they both loved it!
Date night with my boo. Enjoying an evening with a Fleetwood Mac cover band. Drinks are on an extra spicy Michilada and a **** Mary for my sidekick. I had a Mexican hotdog that came with scrumptious refried beans (sorry, honey).
