Airport Chalet - Whitehorse

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Despite being in a non-smoking room, cigarette smoke wafted in from the neighboring room. I called reception and had to convince the staff to come down and smell it for themselves. They acknowledged the smoke but refused to investigate further, claiming the person next door was a heavy smoker. They said there were no other available rooms to move me to. The room filled with smoke twice during the night, causing me to wake up. They only offered me a 10% discount for the inconvenience, which I found inadequate. Additionally, there were many unsavory individuals loitering around the hotel. I will never stay here again.

This budget hotel is housed in an old building, but the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. It is a well-known establishment in Yukon and is straightforward in its presentation. The on-site restaurant is also quite good.

As a trucker from the states, this place is perfect for my stay in town. Appropriate prices and good service and good food. Can't complain again if I visit the Yukon.

The dining room service is absolutely horrible. My partner and I sat there for over 20 minutes. The server continued to walk around not even acknowledging the fact we were there. After she came in a few more times still no service. We got up and left. The place wasn’t even busy. This is not the first time getting poor service there strongly recommend not going here to dine.

This is a truck restaurant and hotel on the Alaska Highway with a truck stop atmosphere. Food is good, the staff is friendly. Very enjoyed the meals I had there, especially the breakfast. Try the French toast.
