Al Taco - Whitby

The burritos we tried were excellent, very large in size and satisfying. We did have to wait a long time to place our order, which was not ideal. Although the food was prepared relatively quickly once ordered, we felt overlooked as there were not many other customers present. Two women cut in line in front of us by going inside to order, and it seemed like the staff may have forgotten about us a bit. However, despite these issues, the food was still delicious, although it could have been hotter. We would consider returning in the future.

Very small and cozy with very friendly staff. Probably 4 tables if you want to sit and eat. You can book a table in advance if you want but we just turned up and found a table that was free. The food was amazing. We had Nachos to start and then pulled beef Burritos. The portions are large and we were both very full after. They make their own hot sauce and it's smokey and delicious without being too hot to handle. Definitely adds to the already great flavours!

Food was great, a bit of a long wait, and we did get cut in front of and were briefly forgotten about waiting outside, but portions were huge and really tasty! Staff were so friendly despite being busy. I would have liked the food a bit hotter, but think they'd been done quickly as we'd been waiting a while. The burrito fillings were delicious though, absolutely loved the vegetarian burrito (with vegan cheese available! and would definitely go back!

The food is incredible. It is taken to the next level by the woman who manages this restaurant, absolutely brilliant.

The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. While in Whitby for a long weekend, we stumbled upon it during the day and made a point to return to the town center just to dine there. The portions were so generous that we couldn't even finish our meal. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for money.
