Bidrage med feedbackOnce we arrived at Blackcomb Mountain as part of the Peak 2 Peak experience, we continued on to the bus and chairlift from the 7th ski resort. At the top of the ski slopes, there were rustic cabins serving food and hot drinks, known as the Horstman Hat. It was a popular spot on the slopes, with everyone trying to warm up. The Hot Chocolate sold quickly, with cups running out before the next batch could be made. We had to wait in line to get our cups filled. In addition to hot drinks, they also offered fast food options like burgers, soup, and goulash. The views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking, and on clear days, guests could enjoy sitting outside.
When we visited, they were grilling burgers and sausages outside the restaurant, creating a tempting aroma. We decided to sit at the picnic tables outside to enjoy our lunch and take in the beautiful view.
Perfect for hot chocolate in the afternoon, sitting on the terrace and admire the panorama. After you go up behind the hut and go down the black run on the Blackcomb glacier to the Glacier Creek.
This restaurant is situated at the top of the ski area and offers both indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views. It operates as a self-service establishment with a selection of food in a cozy "ski-hut style". While prices are not low, the quality of the food is excellent. The service provided is exceptional.
Great location, very scenic views, one of the few places with historic charme. But food was average at best, attitude and service quality of staff was bad and lousy what a pitty for such a great location.
