Ask Italian - Whickham

I and my partner visited ask italian last night for a meal after a day of shopping. when entering the restaurant we were greeted by a beautiful waitress who was very polite and friendly and asked if we had any food allergies and showed us on our table. the decor was clean and the atmosphere was great. we were served by a nice, friendly waiter named george, who was polite and our order he was very efficient and that was amazing that we enjoyed it will definitely be again.

First time I have ever been it was a very good meal especially found the dessert amazing. Will definitely try one closer to home.

Great food, served quickly. Friendly staff. Left waiting awhile after main course to order more drinks and dessert. Would recommend as the food is always amazing

Went to metrocentre branch last weekend with a Christmas present voucher and wish we hadn't Food was so disappointing ; mine was a dish of pasta with very little bolognese sauce My partner's looked like frozen chicken in batter and not appetising or well presented Service was slow too £60 voucher yet restricted to a set menu Wouldn't have been so bothered if Food had been good Personally we wouldn't return !

Couldn't tell you hat the food was like. Waited outside and the staff acknowledged I was there and said be with you in a minute. Waited 5 minutes to be then told sorry we are closed and not taking any more people in to sit
