Mi Casita - Wheatland

This place is never open and the last time I went in, I ended up getting food poisoning.

We always drive by this restaurant on our way home, and decided to pop in yesterday. The service was quick right away the salsa was sooo homemade fresh. We have a toddler in tow, and we couldn't believe how clean the high chairs were here. A lot of restaurants forget to clean them throughly. In fact, the entire place was SOOO clean... even the menus. We ordered a lot! Fish tacos, CA burrito, bean cheese burrito Torta, margarita, beers, and all was great! The pricing was good too. The two servers were working their tails off and were so friendly attentive our entire meal. It was so enjoyable delicious. We will absolutely be back over and over! My only feedback would be about the presentation... Wheatland has a taqueria and taco trucks, so being that this is a restaurant and a sit down experience, they should present the meals better. Our dinner was served all wrapped in foil (like a taco truck) was on 6 different types of plates. I would say if they can get the meals to look as good as they taste, that would set them apart from other nearby Mexican food options.

Best local mexican food that we have found. Has very good flavor and generous portions. Moved up here from LA area and we are accustomed to authentic Mexican. I would say this is closest you're going to get in the area. Have had family and friends visit and they love MI Casita. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointed in the Spanish rice. Entire meal was very bland, lacking taste. Unfortunately home made flour tortillas is not an option. Very disappointing experience Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

We live locally and have been here quite a few times. I've ordered Carne asada tacos, fish tacos, birria tacos, and Carne asada California burrito. All have been super yummy! It does take a while sometimes but I've never been disappointed with the food. Ordering Togo has always been the quickest way to get food. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
