Topsail - Whangarei

Debbie was most welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely divine. The flavours were delicious. Portions weren't massive but we all left there full. Charlotte waited our table and was humorous and pleasant. Ian, the chef was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant. We will most certainly go again.

How has it taken me THIS LONG to find this wonderful gem!!! I had asked for recommendations from some girlfriends for a new spot for an anniversary dinner, but couldn't get a reservation. I tried again a few weeks ago, given we had the opportunity to have a babysitter, and scored a 6pm reservation (only one left! Earlier than we planned, but was happy we came when we did, as we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset in the harbour. The FOOD!!! Wow. The presentation, the flavour profiles, the portion sizes were all incredible!! South Island Paua, Venison, scallops...all cooked to perfection! I was absolutely blown away. My new favorite restaurant in Whangarei. My only disappointment was not finding it sooner! Worth the drive....worth the wait....we will definitely be back!!
