Good clean country pub that serves decent traditional english food pleasant staff well worth a visit

The service here is really friendly and relaxed. the personal let us order our take in the pub after it had stopped to serve and keep our plug safe for us when we forget it! eating here is the second to none when it comes to pub food, completely delicious and my friend and I definitely recommend the chocolate fudge cake. I'm sure it's coming back!

Ah a tasty pint on the way back from the goyt valley, decent chips and a nice interior. The beer garden is a bit lacking but does have a nice view.

After only six weeks the shady oak is back on curs. a warm welcome to all good pub duve, prices reasonable. also dog friendly. the personal is welcome. call them and see them.

What a lovely atmosphere! The surrounding landscape is beautiful, and the food was fantastic. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the enjoyable lunch!
